My "Inside Out" exhibition is open!

Some of the weavings and wall hangings of the "Inside Out" exhibition at the Ruth E. Stocksdale Gallery of Art at William Jewell College.

The Inside Out exhibition featuring 19 of my weavings and wall hangings is now open 9 a.m.-6 p.m. weekdays at the Ruth E. Stocksdale Gallery of Art on the second floor of Brown Hall at William Jewell College in Liberty, MO. The exhibit runs through Oct. 30.

Last Friday, I spent all day hanging the pieces with Nathan Wyman and Carol Kariotis, co-curators of the gallery. This was definitely an exercise in hand-tool appreciation, and I am most grateful for Nathan's and Carol's help in making sure pieces were hanging straight and looked aesthetically pleasing as a whole. I long ago ran out of wall space in my house where I could see how these pieces looked against a neutral-color wall, so seeing them hanging in the gallery was a great experience.

I feel so fortunate to have this opportunity to share my artwork with others. Thank you, Liberty Arts Commission and William Jewell College, for making this possible.

If you can't make it to the gallery on a weekday, you can make arrangements to see the pieces on an evening or weekend. Contact Nathan Wyman at wymann@william.jewell.edu or at 816**415**7588.
